MinImg is designed with local-first processing. Your image files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded by default.
1. What we process
Image compression, resizing, conversion, and EXIF parsing run locally in your browser environment.
We may process basic technical data such as browser type and anonymized usage events for product reliability.
2. What we do not store
We do not store original image content as part of normal processing.
We do not build user photo profiles based on uploaded image data.
3. Cookies and analytics
We use necessary cookies for preferences (such as theme/language).
Optional analytics may be used to understand feature usage trends in aggregate form.
4. Security and retention
Data is protected with reasonable security controls suitable for web services.
Operational logs are retained only as needed for debugging and service stability.
